Our business was muted around the little known Sesame crop’s value proposition.
Sesame is not new, but fairly an emerging crop in our landlocked Zimbabwe whose roots
can be regionally traced to Mozambique, central Africa, and India on the international
arena. Standing out as a better alternate crop to other waning cash-crops, we buy this
crop from our communal farmers located in the low-lying areas bordering the
Mozambique, South-Africa and our inland Gokwe Region although we are not yet very
active in the Southern Border. Our activities are generally Farmgate based, and we have
been establishing our brand in the following areas:
o Zambezi Valley
o Gokwe Region
o North-Easten Zimbabwe
The Farmgate-procured sesame seed is packed into 50kg-net Poly bags ready for export exGokwe/Mahuwe warehouses.
